After School Care

The After School Care teacher will work 5 days per week from 3:15pm to 4:45 pm. This hourly position is for 8 hours per week during the academic year and pays $11.00/hour.  During parent/teacher conferences, the schedule will be from 3:15 pm to 5:30 pm. Minimum of one year commitment is needed.  This is an excellent opportunity to get a feel for our community and a sense of children of all ages.  Responsibilities include assuring the safety and security of the children during after care hours. Developing with the school, and implementing a Waldorf-compatible agenda. Maintaining a shared space that is clean, organized, and beautiful with age appropriate toys and activities.  Maintaining complete records for attendance for billing.

First Grade Teacher

Sunrise School of Miami is inviting applicants for a Grade One Class Teacher position for 2014-2015. Our ideal candidate will have Waldorf teacher training, or is currently undergoing such training and has an ample understanding of Anthroposophy. We are seeking candidates who are committed to the values of Waldorf education and are willing to become part of a loving and growing community.
