Annual Tuition and Fees

Tuition at Sunrise School of Miami reflects the full scope of our educational program, including most classroom materials and experiences that support each child’s growth. Below you will find detailed information about tuition levels, fees, after-school care, and payment options to help your family plan with clarity and confidence.

Additional Fees

A $150 non-refundable application fee is required upon submission of application. This is a one- time fee for all newly applying students.

A non-refundable annual registration fee is required of all students. Registration fee for new students is $600 if paid by due date, $1,000 if paid after due date. Registration fees for returning students is $350 by due date, $1,000 if paid after due date.

Tuition includes the cost of most materials. There may also be additional charges for supplies and special materials that are not provided by the school. Tuition does not cover the cost of class trips, field trips or other incidental costs. A charge of $75.00 will be applied to any payment received after the due date, to any returned check or to any failed transaction processed on or after June 1, 2026 under FACTS Tuition Management system. Sibling discounts are available. Credit card transactions are subject to a 4% processing fee.

Additional Program Information

Parents, faculty, staff and friends of the school are expected to contribute to our Annual Fund Campaign. The money raised helps offset the cost of running the school. Our goal is 100% participation by all community members.

Individual lessons outside of school are required for all students in the Violin and Orchestra programs.  

Tuition will be paid in 12 monthly installments through the FACTS Tuition Management system. A 10% non-refundable deposit is due June 1, 2025. The balance is due in 11 equal payments July 1, 2025 – May 1, 2026. All tuition must be paid in full by May 1, 2026 regardless of enrollment date.

Tuition Assistance (TA) is available for families with demonstrated financial need and is awarded based on the relative need among all TA applicants and the available TA budget. Families can apply for TA once they have completed the enrollment process. For those applying for TA, it is important that you apply for the Step Up for Students scholarship as well. 

Sunrise School of Miami accepts select Step Up For Students scholarships. We currently accept the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC) and the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO).

After School Care

Children should be picked up at 12:30 pm and no later than 12:40 pm. Children who have not been picked up by 12:40 pm will be signed into our Kinder Extended program. There will be a $25 charge billed if children are picked up after this time.

Children should be picked up at 3:00 pm and no later than 3:15 pm. Children who have not been picked up by 3:15 pm will be signed into our Aftercare program and parents will be billed at drop-in rates of $10.00/hour. This is billed in 15-minute increments or fraction thereof.

Parents should pick their children up at 3:30 pm and no later than 3:45 pm. Children who have not been picked up by 3:45 pm will be signed into our Aftercare program and parents will be billed at drop-in rates of $10.00/hour. This is billed in 15-minute increments or fraction thereof.

The rate is $235 for Kindergarten Extended and $170 for Grade School and must be paid by the 5th day of the month otherwise daily drop-in rates will apply. Pickup after 5:00 pm is billed at a rate of $4.00 per minute.
